Fortisip Compact Strawberry is a nutritionally complete, special medical purposes supplement for use under medical supervision. Fortisip Compact is a high energy, milkshake-type drink, designed to manage disease-related malnutrition.

It can be used as the sole source of nutrition or as a dietary supplement for patients patients unable to meet their nutritional requirements through other food.

Fortisip Compact is available in 125ml plastic bottles, in a range of flavours, with a flexible straw attached.

When you should take

Fortisip Compact Strawberry can be safely used for the following conditions:

Short bowel syndrome
Intractable malabsorption
Pre-operative preparation of an undernourished patient
Inflammatory bowel disease
Total gastrectomy
Dysphagia
Disease-related malnutrition

Warnings / Side effects

Fortisip Feeding Supplement Compact Strawberry Warnings:

Not for intravenous use.

Not suitable for children under 3 years of age. Not suitable for patients with galactosaemia.

Fortisip Feeding Supplement Compact Strawberry Precautions:

Not suitable as a sole source of nutrition in children under 6 years of age. Monitor fluid intake to ensure adequate hydration status.

Usage / Instructions

Fortisip Feeding Supplement Compact Strawberry Directions:

Fortisip Compact is best served chilled.
Shake well before opening.
Store in a dry, cool place (5-25C).
Once opened store bottles in a refrigerator for a maximum of 24 hours.
See the side of bottle for best before date

After surgery on my bowels I couldn't keep any solid food down and I was breast feeding a premature baby. I came across fortisip and not only does it taste great it also met all my nutritional needs and kept my supply of breast milk flowing. I would highly recommend this product x
