Celevac 500mg Tablets (Methylcellulose)
Celevac 500mg Tablets with the active ingredient methylcellulose works as a bulking agent and therefore has the ability to not only relieve the symptoms of constipation and diarrhoea, but can also suppress and control appetite. When taken orally, methylcellulose is not absorbed into the blood stream, but remains in the intestines to absorb water, causing it to swell up and form a kind of gel. What can Celevac be used for? Constipation. Diarrhoea. Bowel movement disturbances. Symptoms caused by conditions such as diverticular disease or ulcerative colitis. Reducing appetite and the treatment of obesity. Constipation & Diarrhoea: Methylcellulose's predominant use is for relieving constipation as it absorbs water in the bowel in order to soften the faeces, increase the volume of intestinal contents and stimulate muscular movements of the gut. This will help to move the stools through the intestines and regulate their consistency. It may take a few days of taking Celevac for a full laxative effect to take place. As it absorbs water in the gut, it can also be used for diarrhoea, due to excess water being absorbed. This then decreases frequency while increasing firmness of stools. Reducing appetite: As a bulking agent, the added methylcellulose can be taken to control appetite and produce a feeling of fullness for people managing obesity and trying to lose weight. If it is taken half an hour before each meal or at times when hunger pangs are more severe, it swells in the gut to make you feel fuller and suppress your appetite in order to create an effective aid for slimming. This will therefore reduce food intake and prevent you from unnecessary snacking and overeating.
